This is a logo designed for a nursing home in Oblong, Illinois called Ridgeview Care Center. The brain's Pineal Gland is named after the pinecone because of its shape, and is associated with our perception of light. In some cultures it is thought to be the location of the human soul.
Skunk Rider

A skunk-inspired creature and its rider. I went through a few different variations before ultimately deciding to go with the skunk-like design.
Arctic Rally Vehicle

This is a recently completed piece of mine. I created it as a piece for the ConceptArt.org activity boards. It's a snow vehicle that would, in theory, travel much like a skier does. The vehicle would pivot from side to side on its large, spherical back wheel, and the front ski mounts would behave sort of like human legs. The ski on the outside of the turn would be pushed down, while the ski on the inside of the turn would be hiked up, allowing the skis to grip the ground through turns.
